Pings and listings

Every listing your Radars find and the AI scores as a match becomes a Ping. Pings collect in your dashboard whether or not they triggered an alert, so the dashboard is the complete record and your notifications are just the highlights. This page covers working through them.

The dashboard

Three tabs:

• All radars — every Radar you have, with its status, Ping count, territory, channels, and when it last found something.
• All pings — every match from every Radar, newest first.
• Saved pings — the ones you bookmarked.

You can search your Radars by name or prompt from the Radars tab, which is worth knowing once you have more than a handful.

Table and card views

Pings display as either a table or cards. Switch with the toggle above the list on desktop; your choice is remembered. On mobile you always get cards.

The table’s columns all sort — click a header once for descending, again for ascending, a third time to clear it:

• Title
• Source — which marketplace it came from
• Description
• Opportunity
• Price
• Date Listed

Sorting by Opportunity is the fastest way to find the underpriced listings in a batch. Sorting by Date Listed is how you catch what is new since you last looked.

Filtering

The Filter button opens a modal with:

• Source — restrict to Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, or eBay.
• Min price and Max price.
• Listed within — all time, the last 3 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, a week, or a custom date and time.
• Min opportunity — only listings priced at least this far below their estimate.
• Hide sold listings — drop anything that has since been removed.
• Exclude “free” listings — drop $0 postings.

A useful combination when you have been away: Listed within: last 24 hours plus a Min opportunity, sorted by Opportunity. That surfaces what is both fresh and underpriced in one pass.

Understanding Opportunity

Opportunity is the difference between the AI’s estimate of what an item is worth and what the seller is asking. A $1,200 Opportunity means the AI thinks the item is worth about $1,200 more than the asking price.

Treat it as a triage signal. The AI works from the listing’s title, price, location, description, and attributes — so a thin listing produces a rough estimate, and a listing that omits a serious flaw will look better than it is. When the AI cannot estimate a value, the Opportunity shows as a dash rather than a number.

It is the right tool for deciding which of forty listings to open first. It is not the right tool for deciding what to pay.

Reading a listing

Clicking a Ping opens the full listing view:

• Images, with a carousel if the listing has several.
• Price and the Opportunity badge.
• Description, expandable if it is long.
• Attributes the marketplace provided — mileage, condition, dimensions, and so on.
• AI tools (below).

Three actions:

• Save — bookmark it into Saved Pings. Saving from the Saved tab again removes it.
• Share — produces a link with a rich preview, for sending to someone else.
• View listing — opens the original on the marketplace, in a new tab. This is where you contact the seller.

AI tools

Each listing has three on-demand AI tools. Results are saved to that listing, so you can come back to them, and each can be re-run with Regenerate.

• Generate contact message — drafts a short, polite message to the seller with a couple of sensible questions about condition, why they are selling, and availability. Read it before sending; it is a starting point, not a script.
• Valuation deep dive — explains the asking price against the AI’s estimate, so you can see the reasoning rather than just the number.
• Find common problems — known issues and reliability concerns for that kind of item, plus what to inspect and ask about before buying. The most useful of the three when you are buying outside your area of expertise.

Sold and removed listings

BigFlippa re-checks listings it has found and marks them when they are gone. A removed listing appears with its title struck through and a Sold label.

They are kept rather than deleted on purpose — seeing what sold, and how fast, tells you a lot about what a category is doing. When you want them out of the way, use Hide sold listings in the filters.

There is a real gap between a listing selling and BigFlippa noticing, so a listing without the Sold label is not a guarantee it is still available. Move fast on the ones you want.

Working through Pings by chat

Everything on this page can also be done by talking to an AI assistant — browsing matches with filters, opening one, and shortlisting it. Saved Pings are shared between the two, so anything you shortlist by chat is waiting for you in the dashboard. See connect your AI assistant.
